New complete tyre recycling plant delivered to Papua New Guinea

Eldan Recycling continues to grow on every market worldwide. One of the most interesting projects is the delivery of a new complete tyre plant in Papua New Guinea. This recycling plant is designed to process all kinds of tyres including truck tyres and huge mining tyres that can have a size bigger than 4 meters and a weight over several tons each. The system will produce 0-4 mm rubber granulate (99.9 per cent free of textile and steel) at approx. 4 tons per production hour.

“This is really an exciting project. Papua New Guinea is not a big market, but nevertheless they need durable recycling equipment. We are very proud to have been chosen for this project that shows our capacity to meet customer requirements on all continents”, says Dr. Toni Reftman, Managing Director at Eldan Recycling.

Eldan Recycling’s installation team is now in the process of installing this production line on site in Papua New Guinea. The recycling equipment consists of several recycling machines manufactured at Eldan Recycling’s production facility in Denmark. The customer aims to start full-scale production during 2013.
